The D. Pharm Degree course is a two year program follows non-semester pattern. Diploma in Pharmacy is a short-term programme for aspirants who want to foray into pharmaceutical business and pharmacy jobs. The course is ideal for students who seek short term programmes in the pharmacy domain as B.Pharma and Pharma.D are long-term courses run up to 6 years. Diploma in pharmacy can also be pursued in order to understand the basics of the pharmacy programme and pursue pharmacy advanced courses in this field later.

The duration of the course shall be for 2 academic years (Non Semester) with each academic year spread over a period of not less than one hundred and eighty working days in addition to 500 hours practical training spread over a period of not less than 3 months.

Minimum qualification for Admission

Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Exam (+2) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics as optional Subjects and equivalent thereto are eligible to apply.

Requirements at the Time of Admission

  1.  HSC/Pre-Degree/ AISSCE/ ISCE/ Intermedia te or equivalent mark statement.
  2.  Transfer Certificate from the Institution last studied
  3.  Migration Certificate for the students who have passed HSC Examination from the Boards  other than the 
  4.  Tamil Nadu State Boards.
  5.  Community Certificate (except OC candidates).
  6.  Passport Size Photographs (10 Nos) & Stamp Size Photographs (6 Nos)
  7.  Physical Fitness Certificates from Registered Medical Practioner to undergo the course
